It has been a long time since I posted on xanga, but after seeing Jesse's post of his classroom, I was so inspired that I took pictures of my room, downloaded them onto the internet, and forced Ted to help me put them on my site. It was a long and grueling process, but here they are! Welcome to my world.

This is the bulletin board near my desk.

This is my teaching partner, Kathleen, she is awesome and has taught me everything about teaching and life!

Here is my desk and teacher materials. I am not happy because that bookshelf is a little too messy.

Here are my windows with my beautiful fern (Ted took care of it all summer).

AMAZING! I can't wait to have more teacher stuff, so that I can fill out my room more like you do! Good stuff. What is on the student's desks?

My third week is over. One of my classes is from hades, but I'm learning how to deal with it. I made class miserable for them on Friday, so we'll see how that worked out on Monday.

I even got my first paycheck this week! WOO HOO! Our teachers met during planning period one day and prayed. ...that was sweet. We also started our Wednesday morning worship time...its a lot better than I was thinking. ...we even do up to date worship songs! FUN!

Oooo. I told our guidance guy that I was dying to play some basketball, so he sent out a mass email, and we're gonna start playin soon! ...and my principal invited me to play w/ him and some other guys on Sunday nights.

Sorry...so much information. I'm lovin it tho. You and Ted definately have to come visit me sometime!

Your room looks very cute! I always wanted to be a teacher just so I could decorate a classroom. Not a good reason to become a teacher! Take care girl!

Sweet. I have small crates that I sometimes put stuff in. We don't color as much. ...the rents are visitin. :) Maybe they'll bring me more food! yeah!
